 It submitted IRES for review and adoption
The UN Statistical Commission:
• Noted that the work carried out on IRES
illustrates effective cooperation among agencies,
experts groups and countries
• Adopted IRES
• Endorsed the main elements of the
implementation programme
• Requested that the guidelines on data sources
applicable to a wide range of countries be
considered in the ESCM
