WHY DID WE SELECT THIS APPLICATION?

High economic importance of the Food and
Agriculture Industry in La Rioja region.

Food Safety is one of the high-priority issues
in the second program of innovating actions
of La Rioja

The costs for the companies, the state and the
affected consumers could be reduced with the
use of suitable technoligies and processes of
security controls and the traceability of the
products.

OBJECTIVES
I.
To identify lines of action, scopes and treds in food safety
at international level, as well as regional level; and to
define the lines of potential development.
II.
To define actions for the companies and other important
agents (technological centres, the university…)
This will help companies to decide what steps to make in
terms of key collaborations, incorporation of tecnology
and adaptation of processes, amongst others.

To make an inventory, catalogue and costs and benefits
estimate of its implementation.
