proposal?
A research proposal should:
• Clearly define your topic
• Show you have identified an original research
area
• Demonstrate you understand how to conduct
research
• Look professional and well-structured
• Include a bibliography/reference list

How do you make an online application?
• Go to ScHARR website
• Complete online application
• Upload ALL necessary documentation
• Attach your Research Proposal
• Decision normally made within 4 weeks

What happens next?
• PGR Admissions Officer checks proposal for
academic quality
• If appropriate, a supervisory team will be sought
• Supervisors will carry out an interview
• If successful, ATAS form will be completed
where appropriate
• Subject to all elements being in place, an offer
will be made
