ICS Department to cooperate with the Saudi Aramco Management,
identify the gaps, and find ways to fill the identified gaps
Students should be prepared for professional certification
Development of soft skills and business skills should be emphasized
and embedded in the programs

1. Gaps between the ICS Programs and Industry
Needs
• ICS Department to cooperate with the Saudi
Aramco Management, identify the gaps, and find
ways to fill the identified gaps
• Two visits with major IT people and outlines for future
collaboration.
• ICS department distinguished guests also visited Aramco
• CS program will be updated in 2010 and Aramco
feedback will be obtained at that time
• The proposed SWE master program is reviewed by
Aramco
