Introduction
• Incandescent Light bulbs
– Convert very little energy into light
– Cost more in energy costs
– Contribute to Greenhouse Gases
• Fluorescent Light bulbs(CFLs)
– Use much less energy
– Save average home $40 to $50 a year
Project Overview
• In the City the home of a company
proposing a sale of 100,000,000 CFLs in
one year and in a state that calls itself the
Natural State, so let’s lead the way.
Methods
• Gather local and general information of
energy use and how we can lower it
through use of CFLs.
• Compile the information into a concise
localized manner to convince the public of
our intentions.
Community Aspect
• Our intention is to lower the local usage of
energy in Bentonville.
• Save residents costs with lower energy
bills
• Reduce Greenhouse Gases
