Rocket Recycling
 Partnership between the SEED Initiative and Environmental Services, both
housed within Facilities & Construction, as well as the Lucas County Solid
Waste Management District
 Provide opportunities to recycle plastic, paper, metal, electronics, etc.
 Strive to be a leader among universities by providing quality and
convenient recycling and waste management services, as well as revenue
to the University, while accelerating the advancement of waste
minimization, landfill diversion, and education on recycling
Metal Recycling
Metal items that are too old or too damaged to be sent to Surplus can
be recycled. To schedule a pickup for an item to be recycled, contact
Brooke Mason at 419-530-1042 or email [email protected].

monitors, modems, etc.) submit an IT work order.
To recycle all other electronics, contact Brooke

Books & Misc. Recycling
BOOKS
Bound books should not be recycled in
the “mixed office paper” container. To
schedule a bin drop off/ bin pickup,

work order.
