Introduction(1/2)

We propose first, to design NADH/NAD fluorescence
device (‘Metabolometer’ suitable to buccal and oral
cavity) and construct it. This concept of ‘metabolometer’
to look at the mitochondrial states of chronic and
systemic diseases and to telemeter the data has never
been constructed and thus tested before. Then, we will
test hardware and software for durability, accuracy and
optimize their performance.

我們首先建議,設計並製作NADH / NAD的熒光設備(‘新陳代謝儀’
適用於口腔)。這一概念的‘新陳代謝儀’來看線粒體狀態和慢性全身

Secondly, we also propose to test the devices’
functionality as redox states indicator with a biological
model, It has been found that baker’s yeast
mitochondria have the same NADH and Flavoprotein
signals and metabolic behavior as do those in animal
tissue, justifying our proposal to use Baker’s yeast as a
model.

其次,我們也建議測試設備的功能性,如氧化還原狀態的指標與生物

The electronic engineering design of Fig. 2 consists of 450 nm and
370 nm LEDs flashed alternatively for 10msec. Attached thereto at
a distance of 3 mm but protected by gelatin filters, respectively at
520 nm and 450 nm, are two Si diode detectors followed by current
to voltage conversion [not shown] and sample and hold detection
into a one sec time constant with detection, logarithmic conversion,
signal rationing and digital signal processing using wired output for
the gerbil model. In the human subject model more space is
available and the ratioed signals can be telemetered to a remote
indicator and digital recorder.

