Update on Non-RTC Controls

WSPS worksheets revised and submitted.
Ramp up for EJ
– Time spent learning about the NGAO system design and coming up to
speed on scope of controls system required.
– Work on requirements management impacted the controls effort. This has
now decreased to a small manageable effort and others are using the
requirements management system.
•
Draft of initial system context block diagram produced.
– Still needs some work to incorporate and interconnect subsystems outside
of AO and Laser. Working with DLM and others to update and complete.
– The diagram identifies the major controls modules required to implement
the NGAO system.
– Will be used to guide the remainder of the non-RTC controls design effort.

Next steps:
– Block level design of individual control modules
– Revise the functional requirements
