• Policy
– The Purchasing Department cannot incorporate
personal purchase requests into purchase orders,
give employees access to Campus contracts, or
account discounts.
– We are able to provide who we buy from but the
employee will be responsible for contact and
negotiating their own purchase and it’s not to be
associated with the University.

• Personal Purchases Opportunities
– A pilot list of vendors has been approved for employee
personal purchases.
– The information will be on the Purchasing webpage and
you will be required to login through the firewall.
– Vendors were chosen for the pilot list due to their low
impact on local market suppliers.
– BYU-Idaho is simply providing you the links and contacts
for these suppliers and cannot assist with personal
purchases. Employees are responsible to handle their own
purchases and concerns with the vendors.
– These benefits are for University employees only.
