Guidelines:
• Pick a celebrity to do a
caricature of and print a
picture to work from.
• Draw a caricature of your
celebrity. Make the head
the biggest part of the
drawing. You only have to
draw the head and
shoulders. No body unless
you want to draw it.
• Draw a background that fits
your caricature.
• Color the page with color
pencils. COLOR VALUES!!!
Focus on capturing the likeness of the
person you are drawing. This is most
important!
• Have fun with the
image. Make fun
of the person, but
don’t be mean or
inappropriate!
• Make the
background
important too. It
needs to reflect
the celebrities
personality
and/or what they
are famous for.
• Enhance the facial features of
the celebrity so your drawing
will look like the person, only
in cartoon form.
Enlarge the facial features that stick
out the most:
• Ears…
Mouth…
Mouth…
Nose…
Eyes…
Forehead…
Focus on
capturing
the likeness
of the
celebrity.
