We are starting work on decimals
and how to be able to write and
say them. We will be moving
forward to being able to put them
in order.
We are working on different
measurements using a variety of
tools. We will then be looking at
mixtures and solutions.
In Reading, we are learning to
build stamina and write
summaries.
We are learning about the regions
of Texas.
This week, students will be
reviewing how to brainstorm
writing topics and outline a
narrative writing piece. On Friday,
students will take a preassessment on punctuation and
editing skills.

Upcoming Events:
This Friday we will be having a kick
off pep rally for our Fall fundraiserthe “Color A Thon.” It’s a Color Run
that will be happening here at school
during the evening of October 9th. It’s
going to be awesome, and it’s
replacing the Patriot Faire, so we
need to make sure we are extra
supportive. The ladies running it
started working on making it happen
this summer, and their hard work is
much appreciated! kids excited about
the Color A Thon.
