What is a “tire technician?”

What are some things you think of when you think of a tire
technician? Some may be maybe that man with the
grease stains and busted shoes at pet boys are auto
parts.

Well being a tire technician require literacy, math skills,
computer skills, physical dexterity and talent. And a lot to
do with “physical science”.
The Training You need…..
YOU NEED a high
school
diploma.(which
means that you must
complete all four
years.)
 attend a college.

How much do tire Technicians
make?
The average salary for tire
technicians are 28, 487 dollars.
This has raised higher from 26,284
from the year 1998. Technicians
just now entering the field now can
expect a salary around 22,576 up
from 20,966 in 1998 and 19,902 in
1996.
For some one who has decided to
make a career of being a tire
technician have seen their
average salaries jump from 31,601
in 1998 to 34,398 this year.


Average salaries in big cites for
the tire technician are usually
around 33,642. The medium cities
usually get around the 30,495
dollars and small cities around.

technicains working in
independent repair shops receive
a percent of parts sold. This jumps

repair shops .


