Our project consists of building a robotic
hyena to interact with other hyenas in Dr.
Kay Holekamp’s research project in Kenya.
We must ensure that the ears move
forward to display aggression and
backward to display submission.
Similarly, our hyena must move its tail
over the back and under its legs to display
aggression and submission, respectively.
We will use motors controlled by a
microcontroller to control movement of
each part independently.
