Moving Lectern & Labs PCs to Windows 10

New Projectors coming with higher resolution & bigger, brighter, clearer images

Projection compatibility with modern devices (native HD and widescreen format)

Touchscreen monitors will also be added to lecterns as instructor’s stations are
replaced

Classroom VCRs are being removed from service

Evaluating opportunities in some rooms for wireless presentation – for BYOD

Phased-in deployment over several years replacing 4:3 screens with 16:9 dimensions

Upgraded rooms will look brighter & crisper – especially fonts and detailed diagrams

Deployment staged by building/floor

Existing 4:3 presentations will look the same; no need to change anything

