The domestic workers are called servants.
They are undervalued and denied their
due rights.
Majority of the domestic workers are
women and girls.
They were often abused and tortured by
their employers.
Sonu was 10 year old child worker of
Mumbai.
She was killed by her employer in June
2006.
The Maharastra Domestic Workers welfare
bill recognizes the rights of the invisible.
