Come preannunciato, il 17 ottobre 2016 nell’ambito dell’appuntamento ventennale HABITAT III, the
United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development
(https://habitat3.org/about), si è svolto il side event Large Green Spaces and Urban Forest
organizzato da World Urban Parks in collaborazione con la SISEF
(https://habitat3.org/programme/?d=2016-10-17).
L’evento ha avuto un ottimo successo sia per i contenuti che per una nutritissima partecipazione di
delegati di una quarantina di paesi.
In questo ambito, sono state anche presentate le Guidelines on Urban and Peri-Urban Forestry,
