Thursday November 10th 14:00 – 18:00 14:00 - 14:20 : Presentation of Unito Energy Audit 14:20 - 14:40 : Scatol8 project presentation 14:40 - 15:00: Presentation Project Open Energy Monitor 15:00 - 18:00: WORKSHOP WORKSHOP 1 – Introduction to Arduino and Raspberry PI Beginner The workshop will begin introducing the basics of electronics and Open Source Internet of Things until you get to the development of a prototype that can measure energy consumption. It is going to be used the most common and popular Open Source tools, from Arduino and Raspberry. Each participant, by the end of the workshop, will have to make a simple working prototype from a site chosen by the project intractable (link below). WORKSHOP 2 - Open Energy Monitor Project Advanced level The Open Energy Monitor project is a project based on the Raspberry Pi to create a little box to monitor energy consumption in real time directly from the electricity level meters. It will explain the basics of the theory of alternating current and phase shift and it will be introduced on the main and most common methods for measuring the power consumption. Each participant, by the end of the workshop, will experience and understand the

operation of the OpenSource platform Open Energy Monitor e avrà la possibilità di costruire un proprio prototipo con sensori CT e a effetto Hall. WORKSHOP 3 - Scatol8 Project Intermediate Level Scatol8® is a device that performs the detection and management of environmental variables and transmits the data to a personal computer on which the data are stored, processed and displayed through Crusc8, to launch an awareness campaign on the theme of sustainability.

2nd Day Waste Management at SmartCitys’ time

Friday November 11th 14:00 – 18:00 WORKSHOP - Sentilo.io project: Smart waste monitoring Aimed at programmers, web developers and web maker During this Workshop it will be introduced how to implement the web platform for the reception of the monitoring data of all waste n an urban scale. In addition, the hardware will be introduced to the necessary real-time monitoring of the filling of the waste bins, and sending them in a second moment to the platform Sentilo.io. CONTEST - STREET ART and ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY To Writer and Artists The contest is intended to paint the new ecological island inaugurated by the Campus Luigi Einaudi for the separate collection and all the new bins that will be scattered around the Campus.
