Robert Walker University of Oxford, UK Robert Walker, Professor of Social Policy at Oxford University, presents from his book on 'The Shame of Poverty', and will address the question why poor people often feel ashamed to be the subject of our solidarity. In his view this shaming effect of social policy is a shame in itself.
