 Mark pipe insertion depth on the pipe (approximately half the fitting length). Undo nuts 1 to 2 turns while ensuring they remain on the fitting.

‚ Insert the pipe until the mark is inline with the end of the nut ƒ While holding the fitting body with a Plasson wrench (or a similar tool) tighten the nut firmly with another wrench.

Note:

If the fitting is reused, make sure metal teeth are present in the split ring

 Marque la profundidad aproximada de inserción de cada lado hasta la mitad del acople. Desajustar 1 o 2 vueltas las tuercas asegurándose que queden en el accesorio. No desarme el acople.

‚ Introduzca la tubería hasta las marcas de profundidad.

Nota:

 Marquer la longueur d’emboîtement sur le tube (environ la moitié de la longueur du manchon). Dévisser les écrous de 1 à 2 tours tout en s’assurant qu’ils restent sur le manchon.

‚ Insérer le tube jusqu’au marquage.

ƒ Serrer l’écrou fermement avec une clé Plasson (ou équivalent) tout en maintenant le corps du manchon à l’aide d’une deuxième clé.

NB:

Si le raccord est réutilisé, s’assurer que les dents en métal sont bien présentes.

 Marcare sul tubo la profondità di inserimento (circa la metà della lunghezza del manicotto). Svitare le ghiere di 1 o 2 giri assicurandosi che rimangano sul raccordo.

‚ Inserire il tubo fino al punto in cui la fine della ghiera è allineata alla marcatura.

ƒ Stringere la ghiera con una chiave Plasson (o utensile simile) tenendo fermo il corpo del raccordo con un’altra chiave.

Nota:
