Review 1:
Neither of the main characters have even a nodding acquaintance with love. The storyline is fairly
adept at capturing the thought processes driving emotionally unstable and unhealthy
relationships in every aspect of the heroine's life. Yet her "growth" from the 16-year-old aged
teenager she is when she meets the Hero could only be measured under a microscope. The Hero
does marginally better, but keep the words "marginal" and "microscope" tied together in your
mind for perspective.

I really love this story of love. I started reading and felt like I couldn't put it down but I had to go
to work. The entire time I am at work I can not still thinking about this book. The angst this book
caused me I can not even describe. I would read this again I loved it

Leigh Ann Lunsford tells a great tale and we find ourselves in the midst of a young girl's tale of
hurt and the journey to find love again and the man who wants to be the one to show her. The
characters were believable, strong, and grew from beginning to end. The plot stayed strong and
at different times I found myself wanting to strangle both of the main characters as well as
sympathizing with them. While I think the dialogue was a little to formal, especially for young
people, it didn't slow me down in the reading of their story. Great description and a pull on the
heart strings. Overall, a great read and I look forward to more of Leigh Ann's books.

Must read romance! Pieces of Paisley by Leigh Ann Lunsford is a powerful coming of age story
about Paisley and her unexpected first love. Our first love is someone that touches us in
surprising ways and is someone we never forget; but, many of us do not hold onto our first
loves. Can Paisley? The story is told in alternating points of view of Paisley and Jake, though
primarily from Paisley?s. When the story begins, Paisley is a teenager and jaded with love. She
unexpectedly finds an undeniable attraction to an older, hot-tempered 20 year-old Jake, who is in
the military. Paisley and Jake fall deep and fast for one another, despite their age difference.
They are fully consumed by their love and unable to see the other parts of their lives. They spiral
out of control until their relationship is threatened by unforeseen complicating factors and kept
secrets. Paisley, so young, sets out to find herself and become an independent young woman,
but vows she will never let herself love like that again or talk to Jake again. She is convinced that
a love so consuming could never be a good thing. Jake seemingly moves on, but often wonders
how he let Paisley get away. I highly suggest you read this book to find out what happens. Can
Paisley ever love again? Will she and Jake ever talk again?
Pieces of Paisley was a very well written, page-turning read. I would definitely read more of
Lunsford?s books. There is profanity and some sexual situations in this book. I would rate
Pieces of Paisley 5 out of 5 stars!!

OMGOODNESS Leigh Ann rocked her awesomeness with this book! From the very first chapter
you are pulled into Paisley Hull's life. With her sassiness and quick wit you know that her story is
going to one you won't forget. This is a really great 'coming on age' stories. With her best friend,
Kristi pulling her along to beach house for a party, Paisley meets Navy sailor, Jake Grant, 4 years
her senior. Jake was smitten from the moment he lied eyes on her. Falling in love quickly had
Paisley's life going like a rollercoaster.
