project  max. study time for an exam :-)

Anything is welcome, but must be related to
“computers”
For instance,
 What caused the iPod so phenomenal?
 Are current vaccine programs effective enough to
protect viruses?
 What is the high-definition (HD) broadcasting?
 Marketing vs. techniques. What is more important
for commercial success?
 Lessons from the security issues (ActiveX) of MS

Team Organization



One team has two members
 Total 21 = 8 teams x 2 + 1 team x 3 + 2
Two different submission
 One gives a “10 min. presentation”
 The other writes a “short paper”
A team must
 Decide a topic “together”
 Survey “together”
 Build the basic structure (content) “together”
 Make your own presentation with additional or
slightly modified idea “individually”
Grading

10% (team score) + 80% (individual score)

Note
 Each topic should be interesting enough to get
attention from others
 Allow more presentation time if requested
 One can add scripts in a presentation file
 Grades will be given “solely based on submitted
results”
Due Date



Oct. 19 or Oct. 21
A presentation file or a paper should be submitted
before the first presentation day.
The presentation schedule for each team will be
announced later.

