In Iraq and during the
ISLAMIC EMPIRE GOLDEN AGE
They build in Baghdad the first ever grand
library in the world history and it was
known as in Arabic as Byatal AlHikma (in
English it means : House of Wisdom) and
it contained countless precious, historical
documents, books of sciences …etc.
After that and in the
12th
century
they
complete their work by
building the first ever
university in the world
and they called it to the
name of the Abbasids
caliphate at that time.

From the AlMustansiriyah School to the university of Mustansiriyah
It is a long long journey inside the history
Al Mustansiriyah school (( Mustansiriya Madrasah ))
which built by Al Mustansir Billah in Baghdad , it was one
of First universities in middle ages not only in Baghdad ,
but in Islamic country and the world .
it was opened 5th of May - Rijiab in 1234-631.
This University end with the end of the Abbasids Empire and end of Baghdad
The Government of Iraq decided to re open this
university in 1963 and they rebuild it in similar way
and design ( Islamic historical Architecture )

First Gulf war 1980-1988 between Iran and Iraq
Iraq invade kuwait in 2-8-1990 under the name of (( Kuwait part of Iraq))
United Nations Security Council start economic sanctions against Iraq
in October 1990
The Second Gulf war start in 17-1-1991 and all Iraq fighting machines
destroyed in Kuwait
Iraq under United Nations Security Council start economic havily
sanctions which changed to everything sanctions till 3-2003
The Third Gulf War in 3-2003 under the name of UN and it ends
completely in 15-4-2003
The final result Iraq as a country goes with the wind
Every thing destroyed , burned or looted

affected and

damaged , and looted
, and the most
effected was the
University of
Mustansiriyah
