Animal Facts
Description
Stingrays mostly come
in gray, but sometimes
they come in blue and
yellow. They can weigh
up to 790 lbs. They have
skin like us, humans. It
is 65 feet length wise. It
has a long tail that can
sting anything that is
threatening it.
Diet
Stingrays are
carnivores and they
eat clams, oysters,
shrimp, crabs, and
mussels.

looks like it glides

Stingrays live in the ocean near the shore.
They live in the warm parts of the world. It’s
body is flat so it can camouflage near the sand.
Life Cycle
Stingrays give birth to 2-6 baby
stingrays at a time. When they are
born their parents leave them. The
babies look like mini versions of their
parents.

“school”. Adults look flat and long
with a tail. Adults usually live up

Animal Interactions
Stingrays protect themselves from sharks by
