재싱과협창립행사

장소: 싱가포르 오차드 호텔
참석자: 초기과협회원과 내외귀빈을 포함 총 100 여명
취지: 재싱가포르과협은 싱가포르에 거주하는 한인과학기술자들의 모임으로써 회원
간의 학문증진 및 상호유대를 강화하고 대한민국과 싱가포르의 과학기술분야
의 교류 촉진을 목적, 대한민국과 싱가폴내 한인과학기술커뮤니티 구축 활성
화 및 소통의 장이 되는 창구 역할
초기회원구성: NTU (난양공대) 와 NUS(싱가포르 국립대학) 에 있는 교수 및 연구원
들과 A*STAR(Agency for Science, Technology, Science and Research
(싱가폴 과학기술연구청) 연구원 등 현지 기업의 연구원들이 주축으
로 100여명

아시아의 과학기술자들이 한 자리에 모여 과학기술 관련 최신
학술정보 및 각국의 정책 동향에 대해 정보 교환

한ㆍ아시아지역의 한인과학기술자들을 초청, 첨단과학기술의 교류로
산업기술의 향상과 국제경쟁력 제고에 기여
3. 개최 의의
 과학 기술자들간의 학문, 기술적인 프로그램 교류
 산업계에 종사하는 아시아 지역 및 본국의 한인 과학기술자들이
한자리에 모여 당면한 과학기술의 현안 문제들에 대한 정보 교환
및 협력 증진방안을 논의할 수 있는 실질적인 교류의 장으로써의 역할 수행
