개발의의
• 천연칼슘으로 ‘水분산형’은 개발되었지만
pH와 상관없이 물에 투명하게 녹는 수용성
의 식물성미네랄은 AquaMin-Soluble이 세
계최초 아일랜드 Marigot Group(CelticSea
Minerals)에서 개발.

AquaMin-Soluble
• 기존 해조칼슘AquaCal(또는 AquaMin)에 유
기산을 첨가한 후 기계적 작용으로 수용화
에 성공함으로써 pH 3.0 - 6.5에서 투명하게
용해된다.
• 칼슘외에 해조칼슘AquaCal이 가지고 있는
본래의 미네랄(Mg등 70여개 미량미네랄)을
함유하고 있어 단순한 칼슘제와는 다른 생

(NSAID Dose Reduction)
• Objective: Evaluate the effect of Aquamin F on NSAID dose
reduction.
• Criteria: 50 healthy male and female adults with diagnosed,
symptomatic moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee.
• Study Treatments;
① Aquamin F
② Placebo. Subjects asked to reduce NSAID use by 50% after
2 weeks and eliminate NSAID use after 4 weeks on treatment
• Duration: 3-months completed October 2006
• Administration: Oral
• Measurements: NSAID reduction.
WOMAC pain, stiffness, mobility, Walking Distance,
Active & Passive range of motion

결과
Initial reports;
- 36% of patients on placebo withdrew due to increased
pain, 2 weeks after total withdrawal of NSAID medicati
on compared to only 13% on Aquamin.
- Aquamin F treatments were significantly different in the
change from baseline to one month on treatment (after
two weeks with NSAID dose at 50%)
