바디매오가 소리쳤어요.
“다윗의 자손 예수여!
제 눈이 안 보여요! 고쳐 주세요!
Bartimaeus shouted.
“Jesus, son of David,
I can’t see! please help me!”

“예수님이라면 제 눈을 고쳐 주실 거예요.”
예수님께서 그 눈을 보게 해 주셨어요.
“If you are Jesus, you will make me see.”
Jesus helped the blind man to see the world.

“예수님, 우리의 병을 고쳐 주세요, 흑흑흑!”
문둥병자들이 예수님을 찾아왔어요.
문둥병은 무서운 병이었어요.
“Jesus, please help us to get well Sop-sop~!”
Lepers came to Jesus.
Leprosy is a horrible disease.

하지만 예수님은 그들을 고쳐 주셨죠.
“병이 깨끗이 나을 것이다.”
병이 나은 문둥병자들은 기뻐했어요.
But Jesus helped them to get well.
“Now you’ll get well.”
They all got well so they were very happy.

야이로가 예수님께 달려 왔어요.
“예수님, 제 딸이 죽어가요! 제발 와서 고쳐 주세요.”
하지만 그 집에 도착했을 때 딸은 이미 죽었어요.
Jairus ran up to Jesus.
“Jesus! My daughter is dying!
Please come and help her.”
But when they got there she already died.

“달리다굼!”
예수님의 한 마디에 죽었던 아이가 살아났어요.
야이로와 사람들은 예수님께 감사드렸어요.
“Dalidagum!”
With Jesus’ word,
the dead girl came back to life.
Jairus and others thanked Jesus.

하지만 예수님을 미워하는 사람들도 있었어요.
그들은 예수님을 죽이려고 음모를 꾸몄어요.
But there were people who hated Jesus.
They made plan to kill Jesus.

예수님은 제자들과 마지막 저녁식사를 하셨어요.
그리고 제자들의 발을 씻어 주셨죠.
“내가 한 것처럼 너희도
서로를 높여 주어야 한단다.”
Jesus had last dinner with his disciples.
And washed their feet.
“You should respect each other as I did.”

“흑흑흑~”
예수님이 십자가에 못 박혀서 돌아가셨어요.
머리에는 가시관을 쓰시고 허리는 창에 찔렸어요.
“Sop-sop~”
Jesus died on the cross.
He had thorny crown on his head
and were stabbed on his side.

하지만 사흘만에 다시 살아나셨어요.
그리고 하늘 나라로 올라가셨어요.
다시 오신다고 약속하시면서요.
But he came back to life in 3 days.
Then went up to heaven.
Jess promised to come back.

예수님은 하나님의 아들이었지만
우리들의 죄를 용서하기 위해서 죽으셨어요.
우리를 너무나 사랑했기 때문이에요.
우리도 예수님의 사랑을 본받아야 해요.
Jesus was son of God,
but he died to forgive our sins.
He did this because he loves us very much.
We should learn his love.
