September 1, 2012. The new style 901-7025-xx02 devices
are available in June.

No other software or hardware changes have been made.
▪ Will the new style ZF7025 cost more?
The new style ZF7025 will cost the same as the old style
ZF7025.

No, the old and new style ZF7025 devices will behave
identically.
▪ Will ZoneDirector or FlexMaster distinguish between
the two devices?
ZoneDirector and FlexMaster will treat both versions of the
ZF7025 identically.
▪ Using ZoneDirector or FlexMaster, how can someone
identify one device from the other in a network?
The two versions may be distinguished from each by serial
number ranges.

device?
No, the old style 901-7025-xx01 will not be available after
the End of Sale date of September 1, 2012. RMAs and
field replacement units will be fulfilled with the new style
901-7025-xx02 APs.

▪ Will my support agreements cover the new style 9017025-xx02 APs?
Yes, support and license agreements extend to both the
old style and the new style ZF7025 devices.
▪ If my inventory becomes mixed of old and new units,
how can the boxes be identified from one another?
The boxes are clearly marked with part numbers; the old
style devices have suffix –xx01, the new style devices
have suffix –xx02.

style ZF7025 APs, will Ruckus pay for shipping to
replace inventory?

The new style –xx02 AP may be ordered in June and will
ship shortly there after.
▪ Will there be an official end-of-sale/end-of-life notice
on the old style ZF7025?
Yes, Ruckus has published an End-Of-Life/End-Of-Sale
announcement on the old style –xx01 AP. The new style –
xx02 AP is the recommended replacement.
