Network Small Business Liaisons Network Small Business Liaisons are small business advisors located at each Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) to assist small businesses, including Veteran-owned, service-disabled Veteran-owned, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, and women-owned small business concerns in marketing their products and services with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Among other services, these advisors provide information and guidance on (1) procurement procedures, (2) how to register at Fed Biz Opps, and (3) how to identify prime contract and subcontract opportunities. This includes seeking to procure high quality healthcare products and services in the most cost effective manner, surpass socio-economic procurement goals set by VHA, implementing a comprehensive plan for the standardization of healthcare supplies and equipment through aggressive contracting and monitoring logistics benchmarking data. 6 Goals • • • • Transform the P&LO into a customer-focused organization and provide high-value, reliable supplies and services as well as prompt and accurate responses to all requests.
