Air pollution
Worldwide, the stinky problem of pollution
has grown. More and more factories, cars
and trucks add their bad breath to the air. But
the battle against air pollution is also growing.
Many states are making tougher laws
against air pollution. And scientists are
looking for ways to make factories and cars
run cleaner.
Water pollution
There is no life without water. Man can live
without clothes, without shelter, and even for
some time without food. Without water he
soon dies. But not water helps him to survive:
if it is not clean, then also he may die before
his time.
 Man and his story is a “question of water and
little else”. All his food has water, from about
60 per cent to as much as 95 per cent. His
body is about 70 per cent. But often man
does not have enough water.

