Training Needs Analysis
We can identify performance gaps within organisations
by determining the difference between current and future
required performance. This is achieved by collecting
both qualitative and quantitative data for analysis.
Once any performance gaps have been identified, the
Illawarra Institute can then develop a customised training
program to ensure your staff possess the required skills
and knowledge for your business to succeed and grow.
Components of an industry project
• Scope of the project – stakeholders, milestones
• Objectives that are mutually beneficial to client
and group
• Communication strategies (formal & informal)
• Evaluation and ongoing review
• Measurable outcomes
• Evaluation of project by all stakeholders
• Build relationship with the client for future
opportunities
BDU’s role to support FSDT’s
• Nominated BDU mentors work with the
team
• Help identify and liaise with industry
representative
• Advise on presentation of materials used
in the projects
