Problems
I went outside to find real spiders for Halloween. I found
four nests.I ripped open the icky, sticky, white spider webs.
There were eight spiders in each web. How many spiders
did I find ?

I am employed at Michael’s Craft Store. With fall in the air, I need to
display wreaths for door decorations. There is room for the seasonal
wreaths up at lane three. So, seven wreaths were lined up on four
shelves. How many wreaths were out on the floor at Michael’s?
My dad and I were carving the
pumpkins for church. We will put two in
eight classrooms. How many pumpkins
did we carve?

I went to the gorgeous state of Kentucky for a fun
and relaxing vacation. As I was there I saw 4
rows of 16 beautiful, ripe, orange pumpkins. How
many pumpkins did I find?

They were quickly going north to get
nourishment and water. They stopped in tree
to get rest. They sat down in 3 rows with 5 in
them. How many bats are there in all?

BOOOOOO!! AHHHHHH!! There were 8 dancing
ghosts on two streets ready to go haunt people that
said ghost weren’t real. They’ve come from the
spooky, cobwebbed, evil graveyard. How many
ghosts were there? I’m ghosted out.

My dad works as a principal at Wheeler High School. Since It’s
Halloween, he thought that he should spread the Halloween spirit
by scattering round, orange, pulpy, scary faced pumpkins all around
the building! So we went to Burt’s Pumpkin Farm to pick
pumpkins for the big surprise. We came back with A LOT of
pumpkins!!!!! My dad didn’t let me see how many because he
wanted me to solve the problem! So he said, “ If you want to hear
how many pumpkins, then figure it out yourself!” Then he said,”
The problem is 4x14.” “Can you figure it out? I did. He bought………..
pumpkins. Can you figure out how many he bought?
