THD History
• A TH Group in ANS was formed in 1978
• The Goals of TH Group were:
– Advancement of TH Eng. & Sci. relating to
Nuclear Power Industry
– Promotion of quality in technical publications &
presentations relating to Nuclear ThermalHydraulics
– To establish, stimulate, and maintain quality
technical & professional approaches in areas of
Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics
