Types of Digital Cameras

    Fixed-location studio camera (advertising)   $50,000 + High-resolution image files (80-200 MB) Print photojournalism camera   $5,000 + Good resolution (5 -15 MB) New-media capable camera   $700 + Resolution adequate for professional web use, CD-ROMs, or prints to 8 x 10 (around 5 MB).

Amateur camera   $200+ Resolution adequate for web use, or snapshot-size prints.
