Transcript Sarah Stewart was a skinny, nearsighted, and and silent places in her

Sarah Stewart was a
skinny, nearsighted, and
very shy child. Two safe
and silent places in her
young life were her
neighborhood library and
her grandmother's
garden… to this very day
the library and the garden
remain her favorite places.
All of her books have been
illustrated by David Small
(her husband).
