In fiscal 2011, IBRD committed $26.7 billion for
132 new operations in 43 countries.
IDA committed $16.3 billion for 230 new

Fiscal Year Highlights
IDA commitments of $16.3 billion in FY11
was a record high for IDA, with commitments
12 percent higher in dollar terms than in
fiscal 2010. The largest share of funding
went to Africa, at $7 billion, followed by
South Asia ($6.4 billion).
