Algebra
Prognosis tests are part of the process
that identifies students who are ready to
accelerate in North Penn’s math curriculum
through the study of Algebra I in 7th grade – a
two year advancement.
This
test is also used by 6th grade math
teachers to help recommend appropriate math
placement for 7th grade.

► February
13-22 - 6th Grade Teachers make
Recommendations and Send them to Pennbrook
► March 28- 6.0/HP level decisions by parents are
returned to Pennbrook
► April 17 – Verification Sheets will be sent home with
6th grade students
► April 30– Only Verification Sheets with changes should
be sent back to Pennbrook
► May 27– 6th Grade Students visit Pennbrook with their
elementary school during the school day
► June 30 – Deadline for course request changes
► Late August – Schedules are mailed
► End of August- Orientation at PB 8-10:30 am
