Fashion of the 60’s
• The 60’s didn’t begin out with colorful clothes.
• Most of the clothes in the beginning were dull and
looked better on older people.
• Not too far into the 60’s, boutiques began opening
up.
• The boutiques sold cheap colorful clothing for the
youth.

Women Fashion
• There were dresses that were tight at the
top and puffy at the skirt.
• This was called a bouffant.
• The most popular Women wore mini
skirts, leather boots, and fake eye lashes.
• hairstyle was a beehive.
• There was also the beatnik look.
• For women it was dark makeup and other
dark colors.
• The mini skirt began to get shorter.
