WELCOME TO THE MARIANNE VOS
CYCLINGFESTIVAL AALBURG
Proudly the committee presents the 10th version of this beautiful event. And like every other birthday
party, our guests will have a full program. On the 7th of May we will receive the Topcompetition
Women elite, handbiking, commercial enterprise and a recreationist tour through the beautiful
country side of Heusden and Altena, at which also the Bommelerwaard will be visited.
Special attention this year for out youth: at least 7 categories will start and also the Rabo Dikke
banden race will be ridden through the streets of Wijk en Aalburg.
Womencycling will stay the central poison of our event, but with our side-events and activities which
are added last few years, the event must be attractive for everyone to visit.
Please I will direct you to this technical guide which in our full program is added and the webside:
www.wielerevenementenaalburg.nl where you also can find the total program.
We as organization and all of our volunteers are totally ready to welcome you as competitor, party

On the 7th of May Aalburg will host the 10th edition of the “Rabobank 7-Dorpenomloop Aalburg” a
beautiful race that will go through the seven villages of the municipality of Aalburg. It is a flat route,
but hard because of the wind that will blow in the open fields, the famous Dutch “polders”. The
riders will race three big laps of 28,5km and 3 small laps of 11,3km. The race is also known as the
“home race of Marianne Vos”, because she has always lived in Aalburg, and still lives in
Babyloniënbroek, one of the 7 villages on the route of the race. The 10th edition of the Rabobank 7Dorpenomloop Aalburg makes his sixth appearance on the international UCI calendar in 2016, and is
a 1.2. category race. Next to that, the race is a Dutch Topcompetition race.
