China Green Companies Summit
Dear Sir/Madam,
The China Entrepreneur Club (CEC) cordially invites you to attend the 9th China Green Companies Summit (CGCS) held on the 22nd -24th of April,
2016.
The 2016 CGCS takes the theme of "Redefining the Jungle: A New Business Order". As the consensus for action towards sustainable development in
China grows stronger, China must develop a new "jungle" ecology of government - business - society - environment. In the process of creating this
new ecology, sustainably competitive companies will arise as leaders driving development and a new order.
As China unveils the 13th Five-Year Plan, the Chinese economy will continue to fuel growth in the global economy, with the CEC network of dignified
private entrepreneurs playing a formative role in this economic advancement. A culminating event of the year 2016 which marks the 10th
anniversary of the China Entrepreneur Club, the Summit will gather the full CEC membership, as well as a network of 1,200 attendees from all over
the world. These global business pioneers will bring insights into pivotal business trends and disruption in the next decade of high-growth sectors,
the sharing economy, and business models promoting sustainable growth.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Sincerely yours,
Wu Jianmin

The China Green Companies Summit (CGCS) is dedicated to promoting smart, long-term economic and social growth. Established in 2008, the
Annual Summit, held during Earth Day (April 22) each year, annually hosts over 1000 guests from China and abroad, including business leaders,
political decision-makers, academic authorities, NGO representatives, and influential journalists, each bringing global foresight and drive for
reform to the event. The Annual Summit has been widely recognized as one of the most influential business forums dedicated to sustainable
development of China’s economy.
2

The Summit: Defining Future Trends and Challenges
Over the past eight years, the China Green Companies Summit has been successfully
held across 7 major Chinese cities, dedicating two days each year to creating an
unparalleled platform for global leaders to co-design, co-create, and collaborate into
the next decade.
Each year, business leaders brainstorm topics from O2O, disruptive investment,
mobile healthcare, urbanization, cleantech, agribusiness, online education, and
consumer goods discuss the disruptive change and implications of China in the
world business. This nexus of business, political, and academic leadership has
recognized the Summit as a unparalleled champion for smarter dialogue,
partnership, and growth in the private sector.
Redefining the Jungle: A New Business Order
Order and rule determines the ecology and development trajectory of the "jungle."
As products and services continue to develop and diversify, China faces numerous
significant challenges: excess capacity, high GDP growth expectations, industry
inefficiencies, extreme pollution, utilization of innovation, social trust, transparency
in market rules, and unfair competition.
As the consensus for action towards sustainable development in China grows
stronger, China must develop a new "jungle" ecology of government - business society - environment. In the process of creating this new ecology, sustainably
competitive companies will arise as leaders driving development and a new order.
