Menaggio (Co) è collegata a Como dalla Strada Statale 340 Regina ed è facilmente raggiungibile in automobile o con pullman di linea, ed alla Svizzera attraverso il confine di Porlezza, in direzione Lugano e
Sankt Moritz. È inoltre collegata da battelli e aliscafi
con la linea di navigazione Como-Colico e da traghetti
con le altre località del centro Lago. Menaggio si trova a 85 Km dalla stazione Centrale di Milano, 35 Km
da Como; 92 Km dall’aeroporto di Malpensa; 92 Km
dall’aeroporto di Linate; 27 Km da Lugano (Svizzra);
97 Km da St. Moritz, (Svizzera).
Menaggio is connected to Como through the Strada
Regina 340 and it is easily reachable by car or by bus
from the Switzerland across the border in Porlezza,
towards Lugano and St Moritz. It is also connected
by ferries and hydrofoils to the shipping line ComoColico and to the ferries with other areas of the Lake.
Menaggio is 85 km from the Central Station in Milan,
35 km from Como, 92 km from Malpensa airport, 92
km from Linate airport, 27 km from Lugano (Switzerland); 97 km from St. Moritz (Switzerland).

circostanti; in alternativa è possibile visitare il centro storico del paese il cui gioiello è la piazza attorniata da ristoranti e bar.

It is a charming village located in the central area of Lake
Como, on the western shore, at the beginning of a wide valley that connects it to Lake Lugano through the mountains.
The bloom of luxurious villas from early nineteenth supports further the beauty of the country, nestled between lake and mountains, giving it a unique atmosphere. Its
strategic location makes this place suitable for all kinds of
excursions: by boat you can reach historic villas with their
magnificent gardens, by mountain bike you can ride along
the many trails in the surrounding valleys, or you can visit
the historical center whose main square is surrounded by
restaurants and bars.

itinerari con ciaspole e percorsi di scialpinismo. Il
clima sempre mite rende il paesaggio piacevole e
suggestivo. Menaggio vanta un esclusivo e storico campo da golf di 18 buche, un tempo frequentato dal turismo d’elite anglosassone, ed un rinomato
lido con ampia spiaggia, piscina, bar e ristorante.
Il paese dispone anche di una spiaggia pubblica a
libero accesso, vari impianti sportivi e un campo
da minigolf particolarmente amato dai più piccoli.
Varie manifestazioni musicali, esposizioni d’arte, mercatini d’artigianato, animano le serate in nella piazza.

The pride of Menaggio is its beautiful lakefront walk,
shaded thanks to a row of plants: it offers a unique
view of the center of the lake.
It is also an ideal destination during the winter for the
lovers of quiet and relaxation, while offering for the
more adventurous the opportunity to play snowshoe
trails and ski routes. The mild climate makes the landscape very pleasant and charming.
Menaggio enjoys a unique and historic 18 holes golf,
once frequented from Anglo-Saxon elite tourism,
a renowned lido with a large beach, swimming pool,
bars and restaurants.
The area also has a free public beach, various sports
facilities and a field of miniature golf for children. At
night in the main square you can enjoy the various musical events, art exhibitions and craft markets.
