The indoor game is
popular among children
and elders at home. It is

of arithmetic and to
improve the eye and hand
coordination while playing.
The interest towards the
game is almost dwindling
and TAF is now taking
all efforts to bring back
the game in the midst of
students studying in school,
said K. Viswa, president of
TAF.
A senior teacher told
Porur Times that efforts will
be taken to hold interschool
pallanguzhi competitions
from the next academic
year. Teachers will also
inculcate the significance of
the games to the students
during physical education
periods every week.
