ESF 6 CEMP Annex
The
ESF 6 CEMP Annex
describes “the framework through which a jurisdiction’s departments and agencies, the private sector, not-for-profit and voluntary organizations, and other NGOs coordinate and execute the common emergency management strategies. The actions described in the Support Annexes apply to nearly every type of emergency. Each Support Annex identifies a coordinating agency and cooperating agencies. In some instances, two departments or agencies share coordinating agency responsibilities.” Source: CPG 101

Coordination of Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP).
Disaster unemployment.
Temporary disaster employment. Coordination for Disaster Case Management.

Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP)(DCF): provides a means to supplement income for those families negatively impacted by the affects of a disaster through loss of food due to power loss, income loss or damages to residence.

Disaster unemployment assistance (DEO): provides financial assistance to individuals whose employment or self-employment has been lost or interrupted as a direct result of a major disaster declared by the President.

Temporary disaster employment (DEO): provides temporary jobs in affected communities through the employment of federal grants for this purpose. These funds are primarily used to provide temporary employment for persons who lost their jobs as a result of these disasters.
