L A METAFORA PERMEA PERTANTO TUTTO IL NOSTRO LINGUAGGIO . L E PRINCIPALI QUESTIONI FILOSOFICHE CHE CERCHEREMO DI AFFRONTARE NEL LABORATORIO SONO DUE : (1) COME FACCIAMO A COMPRENDERE IL CONTENUTO DI UN ’ ESPRESSIONE METAFORICA ?

(2) PERCHÉ USIAMO IL LINGUAGGIO METAFORICO ?

S TUDI RECENTI HANNO RIPRESO CON INSISTENZA L ’ ANTICO PROBLEMA DELLA FUNZIONE CONOSCITIVA DELLA METAFORA , PONENDO ANCHE DA QUESTO PUNTO DI VISTA QUESTIONI FILOSOFICHE DI GRANDE RILIEVO : (1) LA METAFORA È UNO STRUMENTO DELLA CONOSCENZA UMANA ? (2) QUALI RAPPORTI ESISTONO TRA METAFORA E CATEGORIZZAZIONE , ATTRAVERSO CUI SI ACQUISISCONO NUOVE CONOSCENZE ?
