“Becoming Fully Awake, they saw his glory.”
(Luke 9:32)
Gospel Meditation
How easy it can be to get bogged down with our
obligations! And how deeply the Holy Spirit wants to get
our attention! Look at the disciples. They fall asleep
while Jesus was praying. Imagine their surprise as they
opened their drowsy eyes and saw him transfigured. God
wants to get our attention. He wants to nudge us and
readjust our focus. Maybe something special happens,
and the “light goes on” changing our perspective.
Today, try to slow down a couple of times and look for
God’s presence. No matter how you do it, know that the
Lord is near you. Nothing makes him happier than when
one of his children ‘wakes up”!

Come facile può essere impantanarsi con i nostri obblighi! E quanto profondamente lo Spirito Santo vuole ottenere la nostra attenzione! Guardate i discepoli. Si addormentarono mentre Gesù pregava. Immaginate la loro sorpresa, quando aprirono i loro occhi assonnati e lo videro trsfigurato! Dio vuole ottenere la nostra attenzione. Egli vuole spingere noi a regolare la messa a fuoco. Forse qualcosa di speciale accade, una luce si accende e cambia la nostra prospettiva. Oggi, cerca di rallentare e cerca la presenza di Dio. Non importa come lo fai, il Signore è vicino a te. Niente lo rende più felice di quando uno dei suoi figli “si sveglia "! Meditación del Evangelio
Lo fácil que puede atascarse con nuestras
obligaciones! Y qué profundidad el Espíritu Santo
quiere llamar nuestra atención! Mira los discípulos. Se
quedaron dormidos mientras Jesús oraba. Imaginar su
sorpresa cuando abrieron sus ojos de sueño y vieron
trsfigurato! Dios quiere llamar nuestra atención. Él nos
quiere empujar para ajustar el enfoque. Tal vez ocurre
algo especial, y "luz continua" cambiar nuestra
perspectiva. Hoy en día, trato de retrasar un par de
veces y buscar la presencia de Dios. No importa cómo
lo hagas, sé que el Señor está cerca de usted. Nada
hace más feliz que cuando uno de sus hijos
"despierta"!
