Il Bronx Zoo

Un altr’ attrazione nella zona e’ il Bronx zoo. Se tu hai
bambini o tu ami gli animali, Lo zoo si trova a due passi da
Arthur Avenue. Ci sono molti animali differenti dagli uccelli alle scimmie. Dopo aver vistato lo zoo, la studentessa
Alex Natale ha detto “ il pavone è stat il mio animale
preferito. Lui mi ha fatto felice e lui e molto bello.” E
molto facile prendere una gelato e fare un giro per vedere
tutti gli animali. Lo zoo si trova a 2300 Southern Blvd,
molto vicino ad Arthur Avenue. Il Bronx Zoo e una bel
luogo dove passare una giornata.

Another attraction, not related to good food is the Bronx
Zoo. If you have kids or you love animals, the zoo is just a
short walk from Arthur Avenue. There are many different
animals from birds to monkeys. After visiting the zoo, student Alex Natale said “ The peacock was my favorite. He made me happy and he was very beautiful.” It is very easy to get a gelato and walk around to see
all of the animals. The zoo is located at 2300 Southern Blvd, very close to Arthur Avenue. The Bronx zoo is
a great place to spend a day.

Greco, la trattoria è un locale dove si mangia bene. Il ristorante ha aperto come café ma oggi, loro servono
tanti piatti italiani. Il proprietario Luciano e un uomo appasionato e lui dice che la sua parte preferita del
lavoro qui è di lavorare con persone differenti e di incontrare persone di luoghi differenti. Il pasto piu popolare della Trattoria è pasta fresca fatta in casa. Se tu decidi di andare alla Trattoria, chiedi di Luciano e mangi
la pasta fresco.
Looking for an authentic Italian meal? Come to The Trattoria di Arthur Avenue. Founded 12 years ago by
the Greco Family, the trattoria is a great place to eat. The restaurant used to be a café when it first opened
but now they serve all authentic Italian dishes. The owner Luciano is a passionate man and he says that his
favorite part of working is working with different kinds of people and meeting people from all places. Fatti
fresco is the most famous dish at the Trattoria. If you decide to go to the trattoria make sure you find Luciano and eat pasta fresco.

Teitel Brothers
Teitel Brothers è un piccolo negozio nel cuore di Arthur Avenue. Il negozio è famoso per l’atmosfera accogliente. I membri della communitàTappan Zee possono vermanente sentirisi a casa perchè due dei proprietari si sono laureati presso il liceo di Tappan Zee. Il mercato e a gestione familiare, un fatto che contribuisce alla sua sensazione di trovarsi in famigila
quando. Il mercato vende pesce, parmigiano,provolone ed olio d’oliva. Il mercato serve tutti i suoi clienti di varie nazionalità non solo la
popolazione italiana. Loro hanno iniziato a fornire prodotti albanesi per i loro clienti albanesi. E 'questo spirito di comunità sposata alla
tradizione che caratterizza il Negozio Teitel Brothers.
Teitel Brothers is a small market in the heart of Arthur Avenue. The market is known for its welcoming atmosphere. Members of
the Tappan Zee community can feel especially at home there, as two of the employees graduated from Tappan Zee High School.
The market is family owned and operated, which contributes to its warm feeling. The store sells fish, parmesean cheese, provolone
and olive oil. The market caters to all of its customers, not just the italian population. They started carrying Albanian goods to
meet the needs of their many Albanian customers. It is this spirit of inclusivness married to tradition that characterizes the Teitel
Brothers Market.
Randazzo’s Seafood

Seafood! E stato fondato 1915 da nonno e nonna
Randazzo. Loro hanno il pesce perfetto per la cena
di natale o per qualunque serata. Quando il
negozio ha aperto, la vita era difficile e il nonna e
la nonna dormivano nel negozio! Il negozio è
aperto da cinquanta anni. Personaggi famosi che
hanno visitato il negozio sono Hilary Clinton,
Stanley Tucci, e Joe Pepitone.
Do you like fish? Come to Randazzo’s Seafood! The
store was opened in 1915 by grandma and grandpa
Randazzo. This store sells fish that are perfect for
Christmas dinner or just any night. When the
store was first opened..life was very difficult,
grandma and grandpa were forced to sleep in their
store during the night! The store has been open for
fifty years. Famouse people that that come into the
store include Hilary Clinton, Stanley Tucci, and
Gerbasi’s Restaurant

Il ristorante “Gerbasi’s” ha aperta tre anni
fa. I piatti popolari inludono pasta, pesce, e branzino. Il ristorante è agestione familiare, ed è stato
fondata dai due cugini, Maurizio e Giacomo Gerbasi. Un lavoratore descrive lavorare in questo
ristorante come “una passione.” Il ristorante ha un
bel giardino goduto da molti clienti. Il ristorante
attrate tante belle persone, e persone famose. La
famiglia viene dalla Calabria nel sud Italia.
The restaurant Gerbasi’s opened 3 years
ago. Its popular dishes include pasta, fish, and
Bronzini. The restaurant is family owned and was
started by two cousins, Maurizio and Giacomo Gerbasi. One worker described working in the restaurant as a passion. The restaurant has a beautiful
garden that people really like. The restaurant attracts beautiful and famous people. The family is
from Calabria in the south of Italy.
Peter’s Meat Market

Se apprezzate la carne fresca, sarete felici daPeters Meat Market nel Bronx. Peter's Meat
Market è un macelleria situato nel cuore del mercato di Arthur Avenue, 2344. Fondata da
Pietro Servedio nel 1972, venti anni dopo è ancora rinomato per i migliori tagli di carne fresca
tutti i giorni. Pietro, che si è trasferito dall' Italia quando era bambino, è ancora oggi il proprietario del negozio .Una grande varietà di carnitra cui il pollo, il vitello e la salsiccia vengono
preparati giornalmente e garantito freschissimi. Sarete sorpresi dall' atmosfera familiare del
negozio. I lavoratori del negozio conoscono molti dei loro clienti per nome. Anche se sei un cliente per la prima volta, i lavoratori del negozio saranno felici di accontentarti. Lo scorso gennaio, Peter's Meats è stato onorato come il miglior macellaio di New York dal Daily News.

Peter’s meat market is a small meat shop located at the heart of the Arthur Avenue Market
2344 Arthur ave Bronx. Founded by Pietro Servedio in 1972, twenty years later it is still reputable for serving the best fresh cuts daily. Pietro, who moved from Italy as a child, still runs the
store today. A wide variety of meats including chicken, veal, and sausage are prepared daily
and guaranteed fresh. You will be amazed at the family like atmosphere at the market. Employees at the store know many of their loyal customers by name. Even if you’re a first time
customer, the employees at Peter’s Meats will be happy to accommodate you. Just this past
January, Peters Meats was honored as the Best Butcher in New York by the Daily News.
Full Moon Pizzeria

Se cerchi per una buona pizza, la tua ricerca è
finito qui! Full Moon Pizzeria si trova all'angolo del East
187 Street e Arthur Arthur Avenue nel Bronx, e attira la
clientela del Bronx e di tutta la città di New York. Approffitta della sua posizione nella zona italiana per usare

nel 1940 dal Sindaco Fiorello La Guardia, per traslocare
i venditori dalla strada ad un edificio. Il mercato ha molti negozi e venditori, come ristoranti, pasticcerie, salumerie, e negozi di regali e prodotti per la casa. The
Market si trova tra Madonia Brothers Bakery e Mario's
Restaurant. L’anno scorso, l’utimo dei venditori originali, Joe Liberatore, è morto. La clientela viene da vicino e lontano.
The Arthur Avenue Retail Market was founded in 1940
by Mayor Fiorello La Guardia, as a way to reduce the
number of vendors on the street. An enclosed location,
the market contains various shops and vendors, including restaurants, bakeries, delicatessens, gift store, and
home goods stores. The Market is located on Arthur Avenue, between Madonia Brothers Bakery and Mario's
Restaurant. Last year, the last original vendor, Joe Liberatore, passed away. Customers come from both the
nearby neighborhood and all over the city for the markets' goods.
Morrone Pastry Shop

Morrone Pastry Shop Café è un pasticceria popolare che si trova su Arthur Avenue. Aperta nel 2005 e` di proprieta`
di Ermano Morrone. Questa pasticceria è gestione familiar. Morrone vende molti dolci inclusi i cannoli, i biscotti arcobaleno, e
il tiramisu. Tutto ciò che viene venduto da Morrone è fatto in casa e il dolce più popolare sono i cannoli. Questa pasticceria
specializza anche in dolci per molte feste, per esempio, i biscotti e le torte per Natale e Pasqua. Anche se la maggior parte dei
clienti de Morrone Pastry Shop vivono in zona, ha anche clienti che vengono da fuori città, inclusi molti-turisti. Personalmente, Io ho mangiato i cannoli ed erano buonissimi!
Morrone Pastry Shop Café is a popular pastry shop located on Arthur Avenue. It opened in 2005 and is owned by
Ermano Morrone. This bakery is a family business. Morrone sells many deserts including cannolis, rainbow cookies, and tiramisu. Everything sold at Morrone is homemade and the most popular item are the cannolis. This pastry shop also sells deserts
for many holidays, for example, cookies and cakes for Christmas and Easter. Morrone Pastry Shop has customers mainly from
the surrounding area but also as customers from out of town as well as tourists. Personally, I ate cannoli and loved it!

Se siete mai fame per qualche deliziosi cucina
raffinata italiana e tu sei sempre nell'area Arthur Avenue, è
necessario andare a vedere ristorante Enzo. Questa azienda
di famiglia moderna è stata fondata nel 2005 dalla famiglia
di Enzo. Se chiedete a qualunque dei lavoratori vi
racconteranno che la loro parte preferita di lavorare qui è
sicuramente l'accogliente, atmosfera orientata verso la
famiglia del ristorante. Questo è secondo ristorante della
famiglia di Enzo tutto a causa del successo del primo.
Quando gli chiesero perché hanno deciso di avere uno in
Arthur Avenue, la loro risposta è stata semplice. "Arthur
Avenue è il luogo perfetto per sottolineare la nostra
deliziosa cucina tradizionale italiana". Alcuni dei loro pasti
famose sono le polpette fritte, pollo Scarpariello e branzino
cileno. Questo è senza dubbio un luogo dove tutti diranno:
"Buon appetito! "
If you’re ever hungry for some delicious fine Italian Dining and you’re ever in the Arthur Avenue area, you
must go see Enzo’s Restaurant. This modern family business was established in 2005 by the Enzo family. If you ask
any of the workers they will tell you that their favorite part
of working here is definitely the cozy, family oriented ambiance of the restaurant. This is the Enzo family’s second
restaurant all because of the success of the first. When
asked why they decided to have one in Arthur Avenue their
answer was simple. “Arthur Avenue is the perfect place to
highlight our delicious and traditional Italian Cuisine".
Some of their famous meals are the Fried Meatballs, Chicken Scarpariello and Chilean Sea bass. This is without a
doubt a place where everyone will say, “Buon Appetite!”

Non solo il caffè, ma tutto quello che trovate in questa
negozio, "È possibile trovare tutto ciò che si vedrebbe in una
cucina tradizionale italiana." Hanno pentole e padelle, alla
deliziosa Nutella e altre dolci italiane. Vendono birra caffè
moderni insieme ad alcuni dei tipi più tradizionali e più
anziani. Questo posto è perfetto per chi cerca un negozio
tradizionale caffè italiano con alcune aggiunte moderne.

“This street is the last Little Italy” says Stefania Cerini, the
daughter of two Italian American immigrants who moved
here in the 1970s. The Cerini family owns a beautiful Coffee
Gift Shop. Once you enter their cultured store you are presented with a enormous wall of all different kinds of Coffee
Beans. They have classic coffee bean flavors along with a
couple of their own creations! For example they have a
Bronx Zoo Blend of coffee which was originally made for the
workers of the Bronx Zoo but then became popular with
many more of their clients!
Not only do they have coffee but anything you find in this
store, “You can find anything that you would see in a traditional Italian Kitchen.” They have pots and pans, to delicious Nutella and other Italian treats. They sell modern
coffee brewers along with some of the more traditional and
older types. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a
