After 9-month classroom training, you’ll report to
work location to complete OJT.
Field Supervisor completes Planner 1 field
evaluation checklist on assigned trainees.
3-month formal OJT period.
Must successfully complete all check-offs in order
to graduate from the training program and receive
final step increase.
Any check-off deficiencies addressed through PDP
and performance feedback.

Feedback Meetings
 Scheduled mid-step and end-of-step
 Facilitates transition between training and the job.
 Review performance and formally communicate expectations
for improvement.
 Those who maintain a satisfactory level of performance across
all dimensions will be eligible for an end-of-step increase. Step 3
increase will be granted upon completion of formal OJT period.
 Those who are consistent in not meeting expectations could
face disciplinary action, including having the step increase
withheld.
