BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Mestre in 1989 and started to study music at 7 years old.

In 2010 he won the first prize at the international jazz contest for young musi cians in Treviso, where he was competing with his jazz trio: Oirtrio (Giulio Scaramella / piano and Marco Trabucco / doublebass).

During 2010 he also started the project “Trabucco Bros” with his brother Marco Trabucco, that led to the publication of the record “Open/Close” (Blue Serge Records ) with Lanfranco Malaguti (guitar) and Nicola Fazzini (alto sax). This first record has been receiving many reviews in the most important jazz magazines like “Jazzit” and”Musica Jazz”.

The year after he plublished his first didactic textbook “Diario del batterista” (Piazza Editore).

In 2011 the “Trabucco Bros” project saw the pubblication of the second album named “Orchestra” (Caligola Records) with the partnership of Marco Ponchi roli (piano), Lanfranco Malaguti (guitar), Simone Serafini (doublebass) e Luca Colussi (drums).

In 2012 he won the 4th prize at the “National Drummer Competition” in Rome. In the same year with Mattia dalla Pozza (alto sax), Michele Massarut to (guitar) and Marco Trabucco (doublebass) he won the "Blow in to the nightfly" jazz contest in Lignano Sabbiadoro and thanks to this they were able to perform as supporting band of “Incognito”. The same formation is about to publishing a new record “Ma.Mi.Ma Quartett” (Ultra Sound Records) in 2014. In 2013 his band “Oirtrio” signed a contract with the record company “Abeat Records” , which supported their first album "Making Friends", with the spcial collaboration of Klaus Gesing (ECM Artist).

In 2014 he will publish his second didactic textbook “L’arte del ritmo” (Piazza Editore) .

From the beginning of his career till nowadays he has been performing Iin many important theatre and stages like “Pollini” Auditorium (PD), Goldoni theatre (VE) Miela theatre (TS), Rai radio station (TS), etc.
