MONDAY, 2nd FEBRUARY – RE-REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR THE SCHOLASTIC YEAR 2015-2016
TUESDAY, 3rd FEBRUARY – REPORT CARDS
In this day we will send you an email with the Report cards for grades from Pre-School to 12th. It is not necessary to
come to the Office to pick them up.
FRIDAY 6th FEBRUARY– PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
(9:45 - 14:45) – NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
There will be Parent/Teacher conferences on this date. Teachers will be available by appointment from 9:45 to 14:45 in
the relative school buildings. Please make sure to schedule your appointments through the School Office from Monday,
2nd February to Thursday, 5th February 2015 until 16.00.
There will be daycare available during your appointment time only for children from Pre-school through Grade
5.
FRIDAY, 6th FEBRUARY – SCHOOL FEES
This is the last day for tuition payments for February. A late fee of € 1.00 per day will be charged for payments made
after this date. OFFICE HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY FROM 08.00 TO 12.00 – WEDNESDAYS FROM 14:30 TO
15:30.
MONDAY - TUESDAY, 9th - 10th FEBRUARY– ISA STANDARDIZED TESTING
International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) is an annual assessment programme that has been specially developed to
measure skills in mathematical literacy, reading and writing of students in international schools.
The ISA reports provide descriptive information about what students know and can do. The results are equated from
year to year so they can be used to track changes over time at individual and school level.
The students are tested in four fields: mathematical literacy, reading, narrative, and expository writing. All students are
given official feedback from ACER.
Standardized testing for Grades 3, 5, 7 and 9 will be held on these dates from 8:20 – 11:10.
Please make sure that your children are present.
WEDNESDAY, 11th FEBRUARY TO FRIDAY 13th FEBRUARY – SPIRIT WEEK
Student Council has organized Spirit Week for the above days. Each day, there will be a theme to which students will
dress up accordingly. Those students that are not participating in the Spirit Week's activities must wear the school
uniform. The following is a schedule of the days:

Student Council will be selling Valentine's gifts, chocolates and cupcakes. They will also be providing a sing-a-gram
service for a nominal fee and deliver cards to the students.

No school.
MONDAY, 23rd FEBRUARY – SCHOOL REOPENS

In questo giorno riceverete un’e-mail con le pagelle per le classi dal Pre-School alla 12°. Non sarà necessario passare in
segreteria per ritirarle.
VENERDI’ 6 FEBBRAIO – INCONTRI INSEGNANTI/GENITORI
(9:45 - 14:45) – SOSPESA L’ATTIVITA’ DIDATTICA PER GLI STUDENTI
In questa data ci saranno gli incontri insegnanti/genitori. Gli insegnanti saranno disponibili, previo appuntamento, dalle
9:45 alle 14:45. Potete contattare la segreteria, per fissare un appuntamento, a partire da lunedì 2 febbraio fino a giovedì
5 febbraio alle ore 16:00.
La scuola metterà a disposizione un servizio di Baby parking durante i colloqui con gli insegnanti solo per gli
studenti dal Pre-School alla 5a.

Questo è l'ultimo giorno per i pagamenti delle rette scolastiche di febbraio. Oltre tale data sarà addebbitata una tassa di

LUNEDI’ 9 & MARTEDI’ 10 FEBBRAIO – TEST DI VERIFICA ISA
International Schools’ Assessment (ISA) è un programma di valutazione annuale, creato soprattutto per valutare le
abilità degli studenti delle scuole internazionali in matematica, lettura e scrittura.
I risultati dell’ISA forniscono informazioni dettagliate su quello che gli studenti conoscono e possono fare; inoltre,
vengono messi a confronto di anno in anno così da poter essere utilizzati per visualizzare i cambiamenti nel tempo degli
studenti e del livello della scuola.
In questi giorni le classi 3a, 5a, 7ª & 9ª sosterranno i test di verifica dell'ISA. Dalle ore 8:20 – 11:10.
Vi preghiamo di non far fare assenza o ritardo ai vs. figli.
MERCOLEDI’ 11 FEBBRAIO – VENERDI’ 13 FEBBRAIO – LA SETTIMANA DELLO “SPIRIT WEEK”
La settimana dello “Spirit Week” si svolgerà nei giorni sopra indicati. Ogni giorno gli studenti si vestiranno secondo il
tema della giornata. Gli studenti che non parteciperanno alle attività dello Spirit Week dovranno indossare regolarmente
l’uniforme.
