Maggio 1987: laurea in Matematica con 110 e lode presso l'Università di Roma "La Sapienza".
Novembre 1987: borsa di Ph.D. presso la SISSA di Trieste (Ph.D. ottenuto a Novembre 1991);
Febbraio 1988: borsista Erasmus presso l'Università di Parigi VI;
Gennaio 1991-Novembre 1994: Ricercatore presso l'Università di Bari;
