In passato ci sono stati componenti di grande diametro con prestazioni ancora oggi
osannate dai cultori dell’ Hi-Fi ad alta efficienza. Quelli che ancora si reperiscono,
sono delle chimere, in quanto difficilmente sono i componenti originari e in perfette
condizioni. Il woofer HW 385 si rivolge ai nostalgici e non solo, reinterpretando in chiave
moderna i concetti degli osannati vecchi 15”, con queste caratteristiche: Mms leggera
e alta cedevolezza, con bassa Fs senza cadere nell’incontrollabilità, elevata capacità
di escursione, potentissimo complesso magnetico ventilato con pasticche di neodimio,
doppio anello demodulante per il contenimento delle distorsioni, cestello aerodinamico e
antirisonante, bassa Le e modulo d’impedenza estremamente lineare in zona induttiva.
Il woofer perfetto per un ampli a valvole... ma anche per un potente classe D!
Along the history of high fidelity there have been components of great diameter with
performances acclaimed even today concerning their applications for Hi-Fi at high
efficiency. The ones which can be still found, are almost different from the original
components and often not in perfect conditions, so that instead of rarities we could talk
about illusions. HW 385 is the woofer looking at the nostalgic of the high efficiency
and not only, reinterpreting in modern shape the concepts of the acclaimed old 15” by
these main characteristics: Soft Mms and high weakening; low Fs without exceeding in
out of control; high excursion capacity; highly powerful and vented magnet assembly with
neodymium pills, double demodulating ring to contain the distortions at minimum terms,
aerodynamic and damping basket; low Le with impedance module extremely linear in
inductive zone. The perfect woofer for a valves amp... but also for a powerful D Class!
